Cult of Aton - part 12: The Milesians


The end of Akhenaton's reign in Egypt was in no way the end of the Cult of Aton. After the expulsion of Akhenaton and his Atonist supporters, the Cult of Aton fragmented to different branches. One of the most important chapter in this history of fragmentation is the movement of some powerful Atonists from Egypt to Western Europe. This is the story of Mile and Scota.

Hyksos kings - the creators of the Cult of Aton in Lower Egypt - had many allies around the Mediterranean. One group of their allies was called the Scythians. These people lived on the shores of the Black Sea, but they were Celts who were originally from the British Isles. The great scholar Michael Tsarion believes the Hyksos were ethnically related to the Scythians.

"The Atonist coterie, who were expelled along with Akhenaton were, like the pharaoh himself, members of this Hyksos dynasty of wealthy and powerful kings and priests. The Hyksos, we believe, were connected to, and possibly identical with, the Scythians of Northern Europe. These Scythians were Celts (or more correctly Gaels) displaced to Europe after the Age of Catastrophe. They were, we believe, originally from the British Isles. If, therefore, it is true that the Hyksos and the Israelites were one and the same people, as serveral investigators now allege, it means that the Israelites were in fact, in their earliest incarnation, Gaels from the North-West. Alliances are made by marriages. One Scythian royal prince called Mile was married to Meritaten, the daughter of Akhenaton, also known as Scota. Mile and Scota lived in Egypt in Akhenaton's court, and were among the expelled Atonists after the civil war between Atonists and Amenists.

Instead of seeking refuge in some Mediterranean royal court, Mile and Scota decided to go back to the lands of their forefathers - Ireland - with a large coterie of supporters. In Irish mythology this group of invaders was called Milesians.
"After the fall of Akhenaton (1400 BC), Scythian-Hyksos-Atonists made their way Westward to later invade Spain and Ireland. These conquerors - known in Irish mythology as the Milesians - were responsible for the destruction of the Druids. One of their elite members was Atonist Princess Meritaten, daughter of Akhenaton and Nefertiti. She was also known as Scota, a name derived from Scuti or Scut, by which Scythians were originally known. After the Milesian-Atonist invasion, Ireland was given the name Scota. Later, the Irish took their princess's name to Scotland ("Land of Scota" or "Land of the Scots or Scythians"). The Scythian-Hyksos-Atonists were none other than the "Israelites" and "Judites" of the Old Testament. A study of their symbolism leaves us in no doubt of this." - ibid

But why on earth would some royals living in Egypt move to Ireland? Did they even know about such a place?

Yes they did. And this is the part the official history books do not want to discuss. Ancient Egypt had a very special connection to ancient Ireland. It was the Druids of Ireland who came to Egypt as Wise ones and Elders, and brought with them the wisdom and knowledge of the ancients. It was the Druids who planted the seeds of the great civilization of Egypt.
"Those who became known as "Jews" were, however, originally neither Israelites nor Hebrews, and were not racially Semitic. The term Hebrew (and possibly also Jew) comes from the Old Irish Iur, and the Irish Gaelic Ibur or Iburu meaning "Yew Tree," or "Men of the Yew." The yew tree was considered very sacred to the Druids and Egyptian Magi. The Ibaru (or Ibri, Abri, or Abari) turn up in Egypt as the "Wise Ones" or "Elders." The letter "H," added as a prefix, simply meant "the," and so the word Hebrew meant "the Ebru" or "the Ibaru." This is the origin of the word Iberia which signified Spain and Hibernia which signified Ireland. The word rabbi is a rendition or variant of this ancient name Abari or Ibaru. The Ibaru were Druidic Elders who had traveled to Egypt in remote periods and who had brought solar worship there. They were probably akin to the predynastic Shemsu Hor or "Disciples of Horus," the tall, fair-complexioned, technically proficient race whose remains were found in tombs in Nubia by the eminent archaeologist Professor Walter B. For example, did you know the first pharaoh of the first dynasty traveled to Ireland, and was in fact buried in there?
"The first pharaoh of the first dynasty of Egypt, and founder of the great city of Memphis, King Menes is buried in Northern Ireland. [...] It is not surprising, therefore, that he should have wished to travel to Ireland, the original homeland of his ancestors." -ibid

The special meaning of the West for Egyptians can be seen in the titles of the Egyptian god Osiris:
"The mightiest of the gods, king of Lower Egypt, He who is seated upon his throne, Bull of the West, Conqueror of Eternity, Representative of the Stars, First of the Westerners, Lord of the West." - Adolf Erman (A Handbook of Egyptian Religion)

It is also very likely that Nefertiti (the mother of Scota and first wife of Akhenaton) was from a family of Western origins.
"The Caucasian features described by Sir Elliot Smith are to be seen on the face of Queen Nefertiti, her sister Mutnodjmet (wife of Pharaoh Heremheb), and her daughter Meritaten (Scota). Indeed, there is little doubt in our minds that Nefertiti and her family were of Western ancestry. This explains why Scota, her eldest daughter, traveled to Ireland by way of Spain after the fall of Akhenaton's corrupt dynasty and why her grave was found, not in Egypt, but in Ireland's County Kerry." - Michael Tsarion (The Irish Origins of Civilization)

So it was not at all strange for Mile and Scota to move to Ireland. But there is more to it.

The civil war during the reign of Akhenaton was between two solar cults - the Amenists and the Atonists. The former were close allies to the Irish Druids. Obviously the Atonist party of Mile and Scota had a grudge against the Druids of Ireland. So they came to Ireland as invaders with a revenge in their mind.
"More importantly, these legends [early myths] show us that it was indeed Akhenaton's Atonists who made the journey West after their expulsion. The story of Mile and Scota is the story of Akhenaton and his descendants. It is the story of the true Israelites. In short, the Milesian conquest of Ireland, was the Atonist conquest." - ibid
"What interests us is that these Milesians, the descendants of Celts from Scythia, have been linked with the Israelites whose exodus from Egypt occurred after the fall of Akhenaton around 1300 BC. Historians date the Milesian invasion of Ireland to approximately 1000 BC, but we believe it to have occurred at a few hundred years earlier. This is because a daughter of Akhenaton, named Scota, is believed to have accompanied the Milesians on their journey to Ireland. Her real name was Meritaten and she (or a namesake daughter) is buried in Country Kerry." - ibid

So the Atonists invaded Ireland thousands of years ago - so what?

There is a reason why it's important to know the story of the Milesians and the movement of the Cult of Aton to Western Europe. It's the Milesians that connect the dots between Akhenaton and the modern day "Elite".

But that's another story.

Fact and Fable


At Esplanadi park, Helsinki, stands a Gunnar Finne statue Fact and Fable. Helsinki art museum introduction:
"In 1928 a competition was arranged for a memorial to Zacharias Topelius. The competition was won by Gunnar Finne's with his entry 'Fact and Fable', which was later unveiled in 1932.

'Fact and Fable' consists of two allegorical female figures: 'Fact' with the flame of truth on her palm, and 'Fable' with the crown-headed bird of fable resting on her fingers. The figures face opposite directions: 'Fact' looks down the Esplanadi park while 'Fable's' gaze is turned to the sidewalk off Pohjoisesplanadi'. The figures are formed in a way which accents non-material features, and the imagery is refined and pure. The aim has been to create an illusory atmosphere in both the maidens' figures and in the balancing composition."

First of all, Zacharias Topelius (aka Sakari Topelius) was a Freemason. So it's more than likely, that the memorial has some hidden in plain sight symbolism. Just look at the details, and see how this statue is yet another example of tarot symbolism.

Flame and a bird? And nude females?

The statue depicts the card Star. The most common tarot deck, Rider-Waite, has on this card a nude female pouring water from two jugs. On the background one can see a bird. In this version, the card does not have the flame. But if look at some other decks, like the old Marseille deck, you can see there is also a flame on the card.

But why does the statue have two ladies instead of one?

To understand that, you need to know something about this card. This card represents the combined power of intellect and imagination. When you are in the state of "creative flow", you are using both sides of your brain. The lady pouring the water on earth and water represents exactly this. She is using both conscious mind (water poured on ground --> analysis, reason, evidence) and sub-conscious mind (water poured on water --> imagination, intuition, symbols, archetypes).

Fact and Fable represent a corrupt version of this. Or one could say the statue represents a reversed Star. Two naked ladies facing different directions represents a divided mind which has no natural connection or flow of the both sides of mind.

The Finnish name of the statue is Taru ja Totuus. The English translation Fact and Fable is not quite accurate. "Taru" means "story", like an allegorical story or children's tale. "Totuus" means "truth", not fact. Truth and fact are not quite the same.

"Tarot" used to be known as "taruth", which is the etymological origins for "truth". You see the obvious etymological connection the name of the statue has with tarot? Taru. Truth.

Tarot is way older than is commonly believed. Tarot as a divination art has its origins in ancient Egypt. Words like tarot, taruth, truth, thought, torah and the Finnish taru are all etymologically connected. Looking for the origins of these words leads you to way back in ancient Egypt. One of the oldest known goddesses of Egypt was called Taurt - the hippopotamus.

Taurt was the great mother goddess, which represented the constellation of Ursa Minor. This constellation was very important for ancients, for it was one of the never-setting constellations near the pole star. In the Dendera zodiac you can see Taurt right in the middle.

Wall Street Bull


One of the most famous sculptures in New York City is the Charging Bull by Arturo Di Modica. The statue stands in Bowling Green and is also known as Wall Street Bull.

Wikipedia:
"The 7,100-pound (3,200 kg) sculpture stands 11 feet (3.4 m) tall and measures 16 feet (4.9 m) long. The oversize sculpture depicts a bull, the symbol of aggressive financial optimism and prosperity, leaning back on its haunches and with its head lowered as if ready to charge. The sculpture is both a popular tourist destination which draws thousands of people a day, as well as "one of the most iconic images of New York" and a "Wall Street icon" symbolizing Wall Street and the Financial District."




The esoteric symbolism of the statue has an obvious link to astrology and the sign of Taurus. But there is more to it.

To understand the deeper esoteric symbolism of the statue, one must be familiar with the history of "the Elite" that goes back to ancient Egypt and pharaoh Akhenaton. I recommend you read first the article Akhenaton and the Hyksos kings.

Bull symbolism has a special meaning in the Cult of Aton. When Akhenaton implemented the religious reform in Egypt, only the worship of the sun god Aton was allowed. Worship of other gods was forbidden, except few gods which were tolerated. One of the exceptions was the Mnevis bull.

" ... the Mnevis bull was one of the few deities apparently tolerated by Akhenaten who decreed that a cemetery for the divine animal was to be made in his capital Akhetaten" - Richard Wilkinson (The Complete Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Egypt)

The probable reason for this "toleration" was the fact the Mnevis bull had a close connection to the old sun god Ra (or Re), which was kind of a prototype of Aton. In Egyptian mythology Mnevis bull was considered as the soul ("ba") of Ra.
"The divine bull of Heliopolis which was known to the Egyptians as Mer-Wer and called by the Greeks Mnevis was originally an independent deity who was incorporated into the worship of the sun god at an unknown early date. Manetho claimed that the god's cult was introduced in the 2nd dynasty, but he appears in only a minor capacity as the 'bull of Heliopolis' in the Pyramid Text. Yet at some point Mnevis came to be regarded as the ba or 'power' of Re and a manifestation of the combined Re-Atum and as such gained considerable importance." - ibid

Ilmatar and the Scaup


At the Sibelius park, in Helsinki, stands a statue called Ilmatar and the Scaup (1946) by Aarre Aaltonen. The theme of the statue is the creation myth of Kalevala.

From Helsinki Art Museum web page:
"The sculpture's subject is Kalevala's creation myth. Ilmatar, the spirit or goddess of the air is impregnated by a storm and expects Väinämöinen (the symbol of Kalevala's epic). She drifts in the sea for 700 years until a scaup settles on her knee, mistaking it for an islet, and lays seven eggs which she then begins to brood. The heat from the brooding makes Ilmatar move her leg and the eggs break, becoming the earth, sky, sun, moon, etc. Aaltonen's work is an interesting amalgamation of international Art-Deco-inspired forms and a national epic subject. The figure in the sculpture is evocative of the interpretations of the Classical myth of Leda and the swan portrayed in painting and sculpture."

The myth is very similar to the Egyptian creation myth, where the Bennu bird flies over the primordial watery abyss and lands on a rock. Bennu was the prototype for Phoenix, the symbol of rebirth the masons venerate.

The masonic theme is fitting for the park named after a famous Finnish Freemason Jean Sibelius.

According to Manly Palmer Hall, the masonic eagle used to be Phoenix.
"These were the immortals to whom the term 'phoenix' was applied, and their symbol was the mysterious two-headed bird, now called an eagle, a familiar and little understood Masonic emblem." - Manly P. Hall (The Lost Keys of Freemasonry)

This is interesting, because the bird in the statue Ilmatar and the Scaup is actually an eagle, or more precisely a vulture. Just look at the size an shape of it. Does that look like a small duck? Compare it to a picture of a vulture:

The reason of this "mistake" is in the translation. 'Scaup' is in Finnish 'sotka'. In old Finnish that meant the same thing as 'kotka' - an eagle.

Looking at the statue with knowledge of symbolism, one sees the connection to ancient Egypt.    Ilmatar, the mother goddess, is a version of the Egyptian mother goddess Wadjet - the origins of the masonic serpent and eye symbolism. The "scaup" (eagle/vulture) of the statue represents the counterpart of Wadjet, the vulture goddess Nekhbet - the origins of the masonic eagle symbolism. Together they are called The two ladies.

In Egyptian belief system The two ladies were the mother goddesses who assisted the soul in birth and death. Wadjet was with the soul in birth, Nekhbet in death.

At some point in Egypt's history the role of The two ladies shifted to the next generation goddesses Isis and Nephthys. Again, they were the mother goddesses assisting the soul in birth and death.

And when Christianity was born, the same concept was recycled again. Mary the mother of Jesus represents Isis/Wadjet (the birth givers), where as Mary Magdalene represents Nephtys/Nekhbet
(the death goddesses).

The two ladies were also the two mothers of the Sun. In many Egyptian pictures (see above) they were depicted with the sun. Together this trio formed the Egyptian hieroglyph called akhet. It depicts the sun in the horizon between two mountains. Mountains were goddess symbols, so again, this is about the sun and its' two mothers - The two ladies.

Akhet, the sun in horizon, is also a symbol of spring or fall equinox. On those days, the day and night are equally long. This is often depicted with a circle representing the sun and a horizon line in the middle of it. One of the most well known modern akhet symbol is the logo of Nissan: The sun in the horizon, with the horizon line, combined with the name Nissan. The name refers to the Hebrew calendar's month of Nisan, which starts at spring equinox.





On the symbol of the sign of Libra, is a another sun in the horizon. This time it refers to the fall equinox, which is on the day the Sun moves into the sign of Libra.





In the context of "the Elite's" Cult of Aton, akhet may also refer to the ancient capital city Akhenaton built during his reign as a pharaoh. The city was named Akhet-Aten, which means "Horizon of the Aten".

So it's not a surprise to see akhet - or the sun in horizon - in Masonic symbolism.








Or in the symbolism of any organization with Masonic influence.

M and G


There are two letters in the alphabet the Freemasons underline in their symbolism: M and G.

M is for Mason.

You see how often the letter M is associated with the red color? That is a reference to masonry's origins in ancient Egypt and the Cult of Aton. Atonism (of which Freemasonry is a branch) was born in lower Egypt ruled by the Hyksos kings. The color of Lower Egypt was red.

G is for Gaonim.

Gaonim was the name of the priestly class of the Cult of Aton during its early history - the prototype of the masonic brotherhood. They were the keepers of the esoteric secrets of the so called "Israelites" (Atonists kicked out of Egypt). Translated 'Gaonim' means "Sons of the Sun" or "Princes of light".

It's a common mistake to associate the letter G in the masonic logo to God, Geometry or Great Architect. This is how Freemasons operate - they give you some exoteric explanation, so that the esoteric truth can be hidden in plain sight. Oldest trick in the book.
"The so-called but misnamed "Jewish" co-conspirators who directed the operations of the Roman caesars and emperors, were Atonists. Specifically, they were leaders of the Order of Melchizedek (or Akhenaton). They were Pharisees and Sadducees of high rank, and keepers of the so-called "Oral Tradition" allegedly delivered to their ancestors at Mount Sinai.
